How I Can Help

Coming to therapy is often a big step. You might feel anxious, exhausted from overthinking, or just aware that something needs to change, but not sure where to start.

In our sessions, we slow things down and gently explore what’s going on beneath the surface. My role is to offer a calm, person-centred space where you can understand yourself with more kindness and begin to make changes that feel steady and sustainable

What I Specialise In...

Anxiety & Stress

A busy mind, overthinking, and constant worry can be exhausting. We’ll explore what triggers these patterns and develop practical tools for calming your system, so day-to-day life feels more manageable.

Self-Worth & Identity

Self-doubt, people-pleasing, and perfectionism can pull you away from who you truly are. Together, we’ll reconnect you with your values, strengthen boundaries, and nurture a sense of self that isn’t tied only to achievement or appearance.

Body Image & Body Acceptance

If you often compare yourself to others or feel like “not good enough” in your body, we can look at where those beliefs began and how they’re affecting you now. Therapy can support you in building a more compassionate, grounded relationship with your body

Neurodivergence-Informed Support

For clients who are autistic, have ADHD, or identify as neurodivergent, I offer a space that respects your lived experience. We might explore masking, sensory needs, rejection sensitivity, or stress, with a focus on reducing shame and finding ways of living that feel more genuine to you.

Other Areas I Often Support

Because these experiences often overlap, our work may also include:

• Low mood or emotional numbness
• Shame, overwhelm, or anger
• The link between self-worth and food or comfort eating
• Soothing a harsh inner critic
• Life transitions and changes in roles or relationships

A Trauma-Informed Approach

Early experiences can strongly shape how we see ourselves today. My trauma-informed approach means we go at your pace, with emotional safety at the centre of our work. We’ll focus on understanding what’s happening in the present, while gently exploring how the past may still be affecting you.

What Therapy With Me Looks Like

Therapy with me is steady, collaborative, and grounded in empathy. You don’t need to arrive with all the answers. We’ll explore what’s happening beneath the surface together, at a pace that feels safe.

In our work, we might focus on:

  • Understanding anxious thoughts or overthinking with more clarity

  • Softening harsh inner dialogue and self-criticism

  • Exploring patterns around self-worth, perfectionism, or comparison

  • Building emotional regulation and inner safety

  • Making sustainable changes, rather than quick fixes

I intend to help you feel more at home in yourself with more compassion, confidence, and support.

If you’re curious about beginning therapy, I’d love to hear from you.
