Online & Telephone Counselling
Flexible therapy from wherever feels comfortable for you
I offer online and telephone counselling and psychotherapy for adults and young people across the UK.
Remote therapy gives you the opportunity to access counselling from a space that feels familiar and comfortable, without needing to travel to appointments.
I have undertaken specific professional training in online therapy, so working remotely is an established part of my practice rather than simply an alternative to meeting face-to-face.

Therapy That Fits Around You
For some people, accessing therapy from home simply feels easier. You might live further away, have a busy schedule, find travelling difficult or feel more comfortable talking from a familiar environment.
Online and telephone therapy can offer the same dedicated 50 minutes to slow things down, talk openly and explore what's happening for you, without needing to be in the same physical room.
You don't need to create the perfect therapy environment either. Somewhere private, comfortable and where you feel able to talk freely is enough.
Online or Telephone?
You can choose whether you'd prefer to meet online or by telephone. There's no right option. It's about finding the way of communicating that feels most comfortable for you.
ONLINE COUNSELLING
We'll meet by secure video call, allowing us to see and speak to each other much like we would in the therapy room.
Online sessions can work well if you value face-to-face interaction but want the flexibility of accessing therapy from home or another private space.

TELEPHONE COUNSELLING
If being on camera doesn't feel comfortable, we can work together by telephone instead.
Some people find it easier to talk when they don't have to think about eye contact or being visible on screen. It can also offer a simple and accessible way to attend therapy wherever you are.

What to Expect
Starting therapy remotely can come with its own questions, so I'll make sure you know exactly what to expect before your first appointment.
Before we meet, I'll send you everything you need for your session. If we're meeting online, this will include the link you'll use to join. If you've chosen telephone counselling, I'll confirm the number I'll contact you on.
During our first session, we'll go through the counselling agreement, including confidentiality and how our sessions will work. We'll then begin getting to know each other and explore what has brought you to therapy.
There's no expectation to arrive knowing exactly what to say. We can take things at your pace.
How It Works
1, COUNSELLING AGREEMENT
If you decide you'd like to begin therapy, I'll send you my counselling agreement to read through and sign.
2. BOOK YOUR SESSION
Once I've received your signed agreement, we'll arrange a date and time for your first appointment.
3. GET CONNECTED
For online sessions, I use Doxy, a secure video platform. I'll send you a private link before your appointment. There's no account to create or software to download; you simply follow the link at your session time.
For telephone sessions, I'll call you at the agreed time.
4. YOUR SESSION
We'll have 50 minutes together, with the space to talk, reflect and explore whatever feels important to you.
5. MOVING FORWARD
If you'd like to continue, we'll arrange your next session and continue working together at a pace that feels right for you.
Why Choose Online or Telephone Therapy?
Online therapy is more than simply moving a counselling session onto a screen. I've undertaken specific training in online therapy, including how the therapeutic relationship, communication, confidentiality and emotional safety can be supported when we're working remotely. This means I've thought carefully about how therapy translates into an online or telephone space, including the things that can feel different when we aren't physically in the same room.
For some people, working remotely can also make therapy feel more accessible. You might feel more comfortable in your own environment, find it easier to fit sessions around everyday life, or simply prefer communicating online or by telephone.
Trained for Online Work
I've undertaken specific training in online and telephone therapy, so remote sessions are an established part of my therapeutic practice.
A Thoughtful Online Space
I'll help us create clear boundaries, privacy and a consistent therapeutic space, even when we're meeting from different places.
Different Ways to Connect
Video and telephone therapy can feel different from being in the same room. We can find the way of connecting and communicating that feels most natural for you.
